To create a more inviting atmosphere for the Student Union Building, Swalling Walk updated the interiors with a new paint scheme, flooring, furniture, and acoustic corrections.  The ceiling was reshaped in some spaces incorporating new LED fixtures and ductwork.  The new fireplace has become a central gathering space for students.
